If you want to try the dishwasher soap the recipe that I used is:
2 C Borax
2 C Baking Soda
4 pkgs lemonade koolaid (I used store brand) or 1/2 C citric acid
Mix it up and put in enough to fill the dispenser of the dishwasher.

My homemade "stuff"
Last week I made my own laundry soap, which works pretty well! Today I made my own dishwasher soap, which performed very well too! I was so excited and couldn't wait to see how clean the dishes were...I kept opening the dishwasher to check...the glasses didn't even have any spots-yay! Calixto thinks I am such a nut! Anyway my next thing to make will be liquid hand soap for the bathrooms.
