ok, I need your opinions quickly...I bought this fabric to recover my dining room chairs...and now I'm not so sure I like it! Does this fabric look too clownish or too goofy? I liked it when I had a 2 inch strip as a sample, but when I see it larger...I don't know? What do you think? Is it totally ugly? Please tell me before I finish the other 7 chairs. Below is what the seats look like now.

i like it. if oyu think it's too much "stuff" remmeber that the chairs will be under the table anyways, so you'll realy only see a glance of the fabric, and if they're actually being used, people bottoms are covering most of it anyways. :) i personally like the pattern.

thanks, Calixto said I have to use it now that I bought it. he doesn't like it though! I got it pretty cheaply since it was 4o%off. I could always re cover them after a few months I guess.

I didn't like it my first glance. I thought it looked a little old fashion but when I took a better look I really liked it too. I say cover them and when you can't stand them anymore recover them and change up the whole room again. :)

ok, they are all covered and I don't like them at all...they look like "art deco". I'll leave them alone and in a few months I'll recover them! I am really disapointed in my last 2 projects. I'll be redoing the little dresser I finished in the Spring, I still don't like that. Instead of stain I'll paint it antique white. Now I don't trust myself to buy bedding or pick fabric for the day bed either :)
the curtains are ok in the kitchen...just not full enough
